FACILITY MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Eastern
State Hospital (Williamsburg, Virginia), a Joint Commission/CMS
certified facility, seeks a BC/BE Virginia Licensed
Psychiatrist. Our Geriatric Center (150 beds) opened in April
2008; the Adult Mental Health Center (150 beds) opens June 2010.
Position
provides direction, oversight, and supervision to all Clinical
Departments: Psychology, Social Work, and Psychosocial
Rehabilitation, also supervises/coordinates coordination of
activities of the Medical Staff. Will also facilitate a
clinical interface with other community entities. Demonstrated
knowledge and experience in administrative and clinical
activities in the field of mental health required. Must be
experienced and knowledgeable of Joint Commission Standards and
CMS Regulations.
Salary range
$175,000 - $200,000 accompanied by comprehensive state benefits
package (paid malpractice, disability, and life and health
insurance).
